ACTIVE BOARDS
Ogden Conservation Board The Town of Ogden Conservation Board consists of seven appointed members.The Board meets the first and third Tuesdays of each month and begin promptly at 7:00 in the Ogden Community Meeting Room. The purpose of the Conservation Board is to promote the development and conservation of natural resources, including water resources within the town. It serves as an advisory board, when required, to the Town Board, Planning Board and the Zoning Board.
Library Board of Trustees The Library Board of Trustees consists of seven Ogden residents, each appointed to a five year term of service. The Library Board meets six times a year, and all meetings are open to the public.
Open Space implementation Committee The Ogden Town Board formed an Open Space Implementation Committee in 2007 to execute the 2006 Open Space Plan.
Ogden Planning Board The Town of Ogden Planning Board consists of seven members. The Board meets on the second and fourth Thursday of each month and begin promptly at 7:00 pm. in the Ogden Community Center Meeting Room. The Planning Board reviews and grants approvals for site plans and subdivisions. They also make recommendations to the Zoning Board of Appeals and Town Board on various zoning and planning matters.
Ogden Town Board The Ogden Town Board consists of five elected members. The Board meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month and begin promptly at 7:00 pm., in the Ogden Community Meeting Room. The Town Board sets policies, procedures and adopts appropriate legislation.
Zoning Board of Appeals The Town of Ogden Zoning Board of Appeals consists of seven appointed members. The Board meets once a month on the first Thursday of each month and begin promptly at 7:00 pm. in the Ogden Community Center Meeting Room.
The Zoning Board of Appeals considers appeals for variances from the zoning ordinance, appeals of the Building Inspector, special permit applications and requests for zoning interpretations.
